Office Timeline for PowerPoint

PowerPoint is the name of the presentation program developed by Microsoft. It was first designed by the Macintosh computer. At its initial release it was called “Presenter” developed by Dennis Austin and Thomas Rudkin. It was officially launched on May 1990 as a part of the Microsoft office suite.

PowerPoint presentation consists of much number of pages or “slides”. These slides are references to slide projectors which are also called as “foils”. These Slides can contain text, graphics, sound, movies, and other objects, which can be arranged freely. The presentation that are been made can be either printed, or can be displayed live on a computer. The presentation can even be navigated through at the command of the presenter. For larger audiences the presentation is been displayed with the help of a video projector.

In PowerPoint presentation we have the office timeline. Timelines are attractive illustrations of various happenings or events or milestones that are relating to your personal life or relating to your company. Office Timeline is a free adds that is very helpful for the current generation.

With just a click it helps us to create a professional looking project timeline with its design. This essay uses those wizards that asks for data at every stage of the project such as start date, end date, description, etc., and it also creates an instantly program timeline slide along with its current presentation. There are much of the templates and designs to choose from.

The slides in the PowerPoint presentation is created using PowerPoint templates or design themes. When you start with the presentation the presentation template is just a plain slide. This slide is created with the help of the slide master. All the slides in a presentation are created using the fonts, colours and graphics which are been made available in the slide master, with the exception of the title slide. If any of the changes are to be made in the slide than edit the master slide rather than editing each of the pages separately.

Using an office timeline tab you can edit a timeline at any time,. This office timeline tab appears on the PowerPoint ribbon once you’ve installed the add-on. There are many ways in which a PowerPoint timeline can be created that to in seconds. You would first have to Download Office Timeline application. The basic version is free, Download it and install the add-in.Then next step is to run the PowerPoint. Here you should be able to see a new tab on your ribbon titled ‘Office Timeline’. Click on it to start the wizard.

There are several patterns to choose from like Gantt, Intervals etc.

Once you choose your desired pattern type, proceed to add milestones, you can customize the shape or the specific milestone.Then Click Finish, to finalize the timeline and insert it into the current slide.Once published, you can also tweak the timeline using the settings tab. You can modify the milestone data, the shapes and the intervals without any difficulty.

In short this timelines are much helpful in both personal and professional life. It’s up to the people on how they use it.

    Suppose i place 9 small photos in a single slide.. i would like the presentation to become so that following the slide with 9 photos,the very first pic jumps out i.e frm more compact size it grows to occupy the entire slide n then to the primary slide with 9 photos n then your same repeats with pic number two ,3 ,4 etc,, i really hope im making my point here obvious
